Welcome to Upper Canada Quiltworks Publishing Co.

In the pages of this website you will find our books and range of patterns. We both have our own design companies, but really love to design projects together, so last year Upper Canada Quiltworks Publishing Co. was born!

Our first book Rag Bags features lots of fun tote bags to make with flannel and homespuns using the rag technique. Because this technique is fast and more forgiving than traditional quilting techniques it is a great way for beginners to start using flannel fabrics.

Our second book Rag-a-Muffins contains lots of great projects to make for the kids in your life. We thoroughly enjoyed writing this book as we were able to include many personal stories of our lives with our children. There are projects to make for every stage in a child's life: a crib quilt and nursery accessories for the newborn, a cuddle quilt for that first day of school, a groovy book bag for a cool teenager and a lap quilt to send off to college or university. The two angel quilts are our favourites, Sugar and Spice for the little girls and Angels in Disguise for the boys. Both of these quilts use the fusible applique technique that we really love because it so quick and easy.
