Welcome to our website!
Here at Fairfield Road Designs we have a wide assortment of patterns for techniques such as fusible appliqué, wool appliqué and punchneedle. All of our patterns features great designs and well written instructions that are super easy to follow.
We have just added four new punchneedle patterns – the “Seasonal Selections” line! These four patterns each have three different designs – one for each month in that season. There are a total of 12 different designs available. Each pattern also gives directions on how to finish the pieces as either quilted wall hangings or wool penny rugs as also give lots of other finishing ideas. There are lots of other punchneedle patterns available as well as our “Fresh and Fun Punchneedle” book, which has 24 pages showing ten different punchneedle designs incorporated into six different quilted projects. I now also have 1/2 m cuts of weaver's cloth available for purchase. Many fabric stores do carry this type of fabric, but if you can't find it at store near you check out the Miniature Punchneedle page.
Another new pattern that we have just released is “Aidan’s Garden”. It is a pieced lap quilt, with large, easy to piece blocks. It is very fast and easy to make and is a great pattern to showcase a large scale print or floral that you just love! This pattern can be found on the Accessories page.
For our fusible appliqué fans we have great news!! Two new fusible appliqué patterns have just been added to the site. “Home Sweet Home” and “Autumn Star” are both beautiful wall hangings. Find them on the More Fusible Appliqué page.
Wool lovers will adore our new “Country Garden Bouquet” which uses felted wool to make the appliquéd vase in the centre of the quilt – this pattern could also be adapted to use for fusible appliqué! You can find it on the Wool Appliqué page.
